Killington Ski Resort Announces Early Opening

With 11 inches of new snow this week, cold temperatures, Killington’s elevation advantage and the power of the World’s Most Extensive Snowmaking System, the mountain has just announced the kickoff of the 2008/09 ski and snowboard season on Sunday, November 2nd at 10 a.m.

The resort will open by offering top-to-bottom skiing and riding off the K-1 Express Gondola and the Northridge Triple, serving the following trails: Great Northern, Rime, Reason, Upper East Fall, Middle Chute and Lower Bunny Buster. No beginner terrain will be available!
