What will the sale of Killington mean?
We think this means a new opportunity for investment in the best ski area in the East. We think this could finally mean the construction of a village at the base. We think this could mean new lifts, new lodges, and new business opportunities. But we want to know what you think. Is this good? Is this bad? Let’s use this page as a means to hear what people think. Please comment. Let’s start a dialog.

Anyone know where the proposed village would be built, or how big it would be?

It’s my understanding that the proposed village will be located around the upper Snowshed parking lot and across the road around the Ram’s Head base. The Rutland Herald article said, “First phase plans, which remain fluid, include a commercial village hub with shops and restaurants, 150 condominiums and single-family homes and condominiums in the Rams Head area.”

So a condo down by Pinnacle area would probably be close to what ever they are going to build?
Any more sales figures for the first couple months of the year?

A condo by Pinnacle should be within walking distance of some portion of the village. What kind of sales figures are you looking for? Do you want to know real estate sales for the 1st couple of months of 2007? If yes, any specific size units? Are you specifically interested in Pinnacle? If you like, you can send specific questions to my e-mail and I’d be happy to respond (heidi@prestigekillington.com)
